Delta Trojans nip ECJC Warriors 17-14

17-14.

F irst quarter found

neither team able to

quarter ended scoreless.

Scoring began thirty–

nine seconds into the

second quarter when

David Pleasants hit

Marvin Nichols with a

pass to the Trojan five

ya rd line. AI Walker ca r-

ried twice to the one

yard line before Bo

Evans carried for the

touchdown. The point

With less than three

minutes left in the first

half , the Warrior

defense stiffened forcing

a Trojan jumble on East

Centrals own 34 yard

line. A30 yard pass from

Pleasant to Johnson put

the Warrior in Trojan

territory. Pleasant then

connected to Gallaspy

for the Warrior second

touchdown. A dropped
