Looking for a new crowd pleaser side dish for
that celebration party you are attending? This
simple potato dish is a crowd pleaser. Simple
to make without turning on your oven.
Did you know it costs a lot less to operate a
slow cooker than your oven? Because of its
low wattage, you are saving time and money
each time you plug in your crock pot.

6 bacon strips, chopped
2 ½ pounds small red potatoes, cubed
8oz cream cheese, softened
10 ¾ oz condensed cream of potato soup
¼ C 2% milk
1 envelope buttermilk ranch salad dressing
mix
3 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onions

In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on
paper towels. Reserve 1 Tbsp. of
drippings.

Place potatoes in a 3-4qt. slow cooker.

In a bowl, beat cream cheese, soup, milk,
dressing mix and reserved drippings until
blended. Stir into potatoes. Sprinkle
with bacon.
4.
Cook, covered, on low 7-8 hours until
potatoes are tender. Top with green
onions and serve.
Yield: 10 servings
