Summary
1. We are interested in dose to a point in water
2. We need to know the energy fluency at that point to
calculate dose to water to dose to detector.
3. There is no need of CPE or TCPE to estimate dose
from detector’s readings.
4. When moving from reference conditions in a standard
beam to non-reference conditions or/and non
standard fields, the dose ratio may not be equal to
the detector’s reading ratio.
