sequence of six generations. No Nay Never was unbeaten at two, having also crossed the Atlantic to land the Gr.2
Norfolk S. at Royal Ascot. He wasn’t just a 2yo, though, as he returned from a lengthy lay-off to take a Gr.3 sprint at
Keeneland, before finishing a close second in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint.
It is hardly surprising that No Nay Never possessed the precocity and speed demanded by many commercial breeders.
His sire Scat Daddy has proved highly effective as a sire of 2yos, while at the same time showing that he can upgrade
his mares. Scat Daddy’s 2015 2yos included the excellent total of six Graded/Group winners, one of them being the
very fast Acapulco (Gr.2 Queen Mary Stakes and second in the Gr.1 Nunthorpe).
