In the coming weeks, the City of
Courtenay will be asking you for
input on a city-wide Parks and
Recreation Master Plan. It has been
over 20 years since the last major
review of our parks and recreation
services, and your feedback
is important. Of course, these
services are funded by you, the
taxpayer, and while the wish list
for new programs or facilities may
be long, we must balance this with
what our community can afford.
This master plan process will
help the city focus our resources
on where they are needed most.
Watch for feedback opportunities
later this summer and fall.
