Fleet Captain - PC Rick Romatz
Jill and I would like to thank everyone who participated in the rendezvous' this year.

First Mates - Mary Marini, President
Mary appreciates all of the support for the First Mates this year. Marie Pippin will host
the trivia games at 8:00 tonight. Randy Pagel will MC the games. Tomorrow will be the
First Mates Dinner. There are still some tickets available if anyone is interested please
see a First Mates Board member. Commodore Brian stated that we will have 50 red,
white and blue balloons filled with helium to be let go in front of the clubhouse later
today. This is to commemorate our fiftieth year.
Ancient Mariners - Archie Archibald, President
In Archie's absence, Diane French invited all of the candidates, spouses, and the
membership for the Annual Steak Luncheon on September 17 at 1:00. The cost is $7.00
for Ancient Mariners members, candidates and spouses. Everyone else is $10 per
person.
Commodore Brian McEvoy stated that we tried to get faster internet on the island and
we ran into a problem with the wireless. PC Bill Hendricks, and Brian Malik have been
working on it.
