WOW – that’s the first word that comes to mind to describe Haul Out weekend and for that
matter this entire year at NCYC. The participation, comradery, volunteerism and great times
have been amazing. As your Commodore, I can’t thank you all enough for your help and
friendship. It has been an experience Renee and I will never forget.
Congratulations to our new Rear Commodore Randy Pagel. Rest assured I will always be
available to help in any way I can when you become Commodore. Congratulations to Bill
Callahan, Scott Greenfelder, and Tom Martin, our newly elected board members. We will
appoint a director to fulfill the final year remaining for Randy Pagel’s vacant director position
for 2016 at our next board meeting.
Excellent Haul Out feast Pat and Russ!!! Thank You for jumping in again this year with the
help of Brian & Lori, Jill, Cathy and the rest of your crew. Thank You to Kim Miedema, Nancy
Carroll, Ron Kemp, Ed Romatz, Glen & Sheila Nixon, Leslie Leitch, Renee and Andy McEvoy
for all the fantastic decorations, the clubhouse and grounds looked amazing. Thank you Mary
Marini and your First Mates crew for a well-executed annual First Mates Haul out breakfast
Sunday morning.
Thank you to Fleet Captains P/C Rick and Jill for all of your hard work and the good times you
provided this year. We have a lot of good memories to add to our collection for the year.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in and planned this year’s activities. It’s not an
easy task and it takes a lot of time, planning and manpower to pull it off. More importantly it
takes participation from the membership to make them successful. We need your continued
support and participation for these events every year.
