RORY BEST’S 50TH
EUROPEAN APPEARANCE
Rory made his European debut, against
Gloucester, in January 2005 in a 14-12
home win.
The front row that night included his brother
Simon and Australian tighthead prop Rod
Moore.
This afternoon’s game sees Ulster Captain, Rory Best,
make his 50th appearance in European competition.
Highlights of Rory’s European career,
to name just a few matches, include the
quarter-final win over Munster at Thomond
Park, the Heineken Cup Final in 2012, the
wins over Castres and Montpellier in France
and the away victories over Northampton
and Leicester Tigers in recent years.
CONGRATULATIONS
CONGRATULATIONS TO RORY – HOPEFULLY THERE WILL
BE MANY MORE APPEARANCES TO COME!
