The Star ofAgnus
Bedford
Disguised
in supernatural cover
The Star of Agnus - Opened like a returning lover;
When awakened she swims again
with the headless bluebells in bloom,
along the drifted locks of the river Frome.
A star that slept on steep cliffs
Inhaling the dream
that woke her from the fall,
Between every Spring Equinox
glimmers on the black rocks,
the star of Agnus Bedford crying
near the cave dwelling ghost of a hermit
while the amused and curious fox,
sleepwalked with the tears of a falling star.
