A

thletics play a promi–

nent part in USD's

tradition, and they

are significant

to

us both as

athletes and as fans, because

we love the games. We, the

athletes practice day in and

day out, working towards im–

provement and ultimate victo–

ry. Sometimes our efforts re–

sult in glory; other times the

rewards are not so great. Yet

we persevere. As fans our af–

fection for sports is evident in

our attendance and in our

heartfelt cheers. We fans are

proud because we support

them enthusiastically. Our

sports are enjoying greater

success and increasing popu–

larity.

It

is a combination of

enjoyment, pride, and excel–

lence along with a desired to

strengthen USD's sports and

propel them into the future

that makes them change ...

From Past to Future Glory!
