a very sensitive instrument. May be adjusted to
any angle - the slightest pressure on the contact
point will produce a movement of the hand on

Magnetic Base Indicator Holder Set
Starrett Secure test indicators with a powerful, permanent
magnetic base. Holds firmly to steel or iron surfaces - hori-
zontally, vertically or upside- down. 1-hand set-up and take-
down. Push button switch turns magnetic force on or off.
V-step adapts base to horizontal or vertical arbors and chucks.
Extra 1/4-20 NC tapped hole in side of base for indicator

with polished sides. 2 gauge pins in base are for linear work.
V-grooved in the base for cylindrical work. Spindle is adjust-

Telescoping Gauges
Starrett Automatic self-centering handle. Plungers tele-
scope within each other providing a positive seat in all
positions. Constant spring tension gives uniform contact

Telescoping Gauge Set
General For quick, accurate measurements
of inside diameters of holes and widths of slots
from which micrometer measurements are
taken. Both gauging ends are heat-treated tool
steel and ground to a radius for measuring the
smallest hole the gauge will enter. Self-centering
action ensures accuracy. Long-handled design provides improved reach in
deep holes and slots. Satin chrome finish. Swivel lock at base of handle.

Depth Gauge
Starrett Gauge quickly obtains measurements of a blind hole
(32nds & 64ths, 1/2 mm) by adjusting rule to required depth.
Finished, hardened steel head and precision, machine- divided,
tempered steel rule (6"L x 3/16"W). Gauge adjusts smoothly
then locks into position. Base is cut out on one side for easier
readings and accurate measurements. Fixed 90° angle depth
gauge with 2-1/2" precision-ground work base.

General Easy-read depth/90° angle gauge makes precise depth
measurements in small holes and slots. Doubles as a protractor
(measuring 30°, 45° & 60° R&L). Spring tension nut secures rule
in milled slot to the hardened steel base (2-1/2"W). Stainless
steel rule (6" x 1/4") is etched (graduated in 32nds & 64ths) and
can be locked in any position. Conforms to government specifi-
