Introducing… Find It Here 2017: Windham Trails Edition

Don’t miss this chance to win great prizes while exploring Windham’s beautiful trail systems!

Find It Here is a photo scavenger hunt of outdoor experiences in Windham designed to encourage families

and individuals to get outside in conjunction with National Trails Day on June 3

. This program is open to

teams of two or more people, and at least one team member must be 18 years of age or older.

All teams who participate will receive a “Find It Here 2017” bumper sticker, and 3 teams

who complete the challenge will be selected at random to win prizes including a Maine

State Parks pass.

When:

Donnabeth Lippman Park, Lowell Preserve, and Mountain Division Trail

Fee:

Free! Teams must register to participate.

Maine Recreation and Park Association Discount Ticket Program

The MRPA discount ticket program has proven to be a very successful program here at Windham

Parks & Recreation. Discounted admission tickets will be available for the following spots:

Funtown /Splashtown Combination

Splashtown only

Water Country

Aquaboggan

York’s Wild Kingdom

Ticket prices to be announced soon, and can be purchased at the Recreation Department

during regular business hours

Summer Concert Series

Due to last year’s success,

we are happy to bring back the

Summer Concert Series at Dundee Park

The Parks and Recreation Department and the

Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee are

pleased to announce we will be bringing back

the Summer Concert Series to Windham again

for this summer. This very popular 4 week

series will happen on Wednesday Evenings

beginning July 12 at Dundee Park.

Local community organizations may receive

a fundraising opportunity by running a

concession booth. Please contact Linda

Windham Senior Citizens Only—Need a ride to the concert? We will pick you up for any of the concerts you

wish to attend—registration and payment will be required in advance so we can plan accordingly. Fee: $3.00
