HE SIR ROBERT MENZIES MEMORIAL

FOUNDATION wishes to stimulate research

in the allied health sciences and is offering

one or two reseach scholarships in this field.

The level of renumeration is $27,500 p.a. free of

income tax.

The award will be tenable at an Australian tertiary

institution with adequate facilities for post-

graduate research in the applicant's discipline.

The scholarship will be open to persons who will

be working as full-time students in a research PhD

program which is likely to be completed during

the first two year tenure of the scholarship. The

applicant will generally have completed the first

stage of the PhD project. The successful applicant

will be expected to take up the scholarship during

the calendar year 2014.

The purpose of the scholarship is to try to

improve the health of Australians by supporting an

outstanding applicant from one of the non-medical

allied health disciplines whose research is likely to fall

outside the conventional areas of medical research.
