Boatique. The First Mates had to spend $10,000 this year, so they donated it to the
Club for the walkway in front of the Boatique, a new POS cash register, the sound
system, and new phone system for the Fins. Since there is so much that goes into
planning an event for the pleasure of the First Mates, Kathy also asked that the First
Mates participate in all of the events. Mary Marini will be the new president of the
First Mates for 2015.
Topic #5:
Ancient Mariners President
Ancient Mariners President wanted to say thank you to all who helped with the
spaghetti dinner, the Horse races, and all of the other events that the Ancient
Mariners has put on for the last 5 years. A special thanks to the Ron & Jeannine Kemp
and Ed & Diane Romatz for the cooking. Also to PC Pete Beecherl for helping with the
Horse Races and Diane French for collecting all of the donations. Please give all of
these people a round of applause.

Good of the order:
PC Rick Romatz stated that this was an outstanding presentation, however, it was hard to see.
He asked if it was possible to email out the Power Point presentation in advance of the meeting
so members could print it and follow along .
Commodore John presented a book, with pictures of the rendezvous, to Fleet Captains Ian and
Marie Blackburn. The book was put together by our photographer, Kim Miedema.
