Lacy-Marie Meyer calls herself a “Dodge girl” and “a metal
head obsessed with skulls” so it doesn’t take much of a brain
to see why she named her 2015 Ram Skully and grabbed
the Instagram handle Skullytheram. This Edmontonion’s ride
even resembles a skull with its clean white lines and sharp
black accents. When she added black spikes to the white
Extend-A Fenders, Skully “really started to feel personalized”.
This is one girl raised to drive a dream ride. She writes: “most
kids went to Chuck E Cheese’s for their birthday, I went to
crash derbies & mud bogs.” Although she grew up wanting
a “monster truck with huge tires”, when she got her stock
truck, the first thing she did was “take off the muffler and put
on something noisy, because I wanted it to sound mean”.
She advises others to do the same, “but I like anything that
makes it their own, to make it unique.” It’s those personal choices that reflect the driver’s
taste which count: “I love how my truck sounds. But I also love all the details on it, like the
spikes and skulls”. Her next accessories will be “a front bumper upgrade with some new
fogs”.
Lacy-Marie’s been a member of Badlands Ram since she “was carded” when she had
her 2012 Ram and loves going to meets: “I get to meet awesome people,talk specs and
make friends”. She loves this lifestyle: “I do everything from playing in the mud to car shows.
I’ve been able to be a part of some fundraisers as well.” She has discovered some great
hunting and fishing spots while off-roading in Alberta and BC and she plans to do more of
that. She has also spent time checking out other trucks on Instagram and she’s found a
favourite: mr. highliter is a Ram accented in her favourite colour, yellow.
