Speaker Margaret Crook is a retired primary school
teacher. She started researching her family because
myth had it that she was related to Ann Hathaway, her
paternal grandmother’s maiden name.
So far no link has been found, but she’s had great fun
tracing back to the early 19th century and possibly
farther back.
