The 19 regional and two national
chapters of ISRI provide recyclers,
scrap consumers, and recycling
equipment and service providers
with local news and with meetings
and events designed to strengthen
business locally. They hold regular
meetings, dinners, golf outings,
and other social events to bring
members of the industry together in
an environment in which they can
learn and help one another while
also having some fun. For many ISRI
members, it is not an exaggeration
to say that their closest and oldest
business relationships began at the
chapter level.
