SOCIETY CENTENARY ANNUITY
FUND.
As stated in the June issue of the Gazette
the net
total of
the fund at the date
of closing of
the
subscription
list was
£1,392 11s. lid. The Council at its last
meeting resolved to discharge the liabilities
for printing, postage, etc.,
in connection
with the fund and to add sufficient to make
it
£1,400.
A
cheque
for
the
latter
amount was accordingly sent to the Solici
tors' Benevolent Association for the purpose
of founding-a single annuity to be known as
the Centenary Annuity which will
be
administered by the Association.
EXAMINATIONS, OCTOBER, 1942.
A Final Examination will be held upon
Monday and Tuesday the 5th and 6th days
of October. ' Notice of intention to attend
the examination should be lodged in the
Secretary's Office before the 14th September.
A " First Examination " in Irish will be
held upon Friday, the 2nd day of October.
Notice of intention to attend the examina
tion should be lodged in
the Secretary's
Office before the llth September.
A " Second Examination " in Irish will be
held on Friday and Saturday, the 2nd and
3rd
days
of October. Notice of intention to
attend the examination should be lodged in
the Secretary's Office
before
the
llth
September.
A Preliminary Examination will be held
upon Wednesday • and Thursday, the 7th
and 8th October. Notice of intention to
attend the examination should be lodged
in the Secretary's Office before the
September.
16th
An Intermediate Examination will be held
upon Friday, the 9th day of October. Notice
of intention to attend the examination should
be lodged in the Secretary's Officer-before the
17th, September.
