Crianlarich Hotel, Crianlarich
Set in the Scottish Highlands, the Crianlarich Hotel is a family run hotel with an award winning restaurant and cosy pub.
There is free Wi-Fi at the hotel and the comfortable en suite bedrooms are equipped with TV and tea & coffee making
facilities.
Palace Hotel & Spa, Inverness
Overlooking the River Ness, a short stroll from the city centre, this superior quality, traditional Scottish hotel has well
appointed bedrooms all en-suite with hospitality tray, radio, TV and free WiFi. Leisure facilities include indoor swimming
pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and beauty salon.
DAY 6
A wonderful circular excursion, commencing with a
steam train ride on the Strathspey Railway before
continuing by coach to Ballindalloch Castle & Gardens
a wonderful Highland Estate. We then re-board our
coach to complete the circle through the magnificent
Highland scenery back to Inverness. (B,D).
DAY 7
A free day to enjoy at leisure in Inverness, the capital
of the Highlands. You may wish to take a dolphin
cruise on the Moray Firth, or a full day excursion to
experience the train journey along the Far North Line
through wild Caithness. (B,D)
DAY 8
Our grand circular tour concludes as we bid farewell
to Inverness and if travelling by train return homeward
over the Cairngorm Mountains to Edinburgh and the
South. (B)
*In the unlikely event of the steam train being
unavailable we reserve the right to substitute a diesel
train or undertake the journey by road coach.
**Please note that for the May departure, we switch
the tour around and we spend nights 1-4 at Inverness
and 5-7 at Crianlarich**
