Mercure Hotel Part-Dieu, Lyon
This 4-star hotel is ideally located next to Lyons Part-
Dieu station. The comfortable bedrooms all feature tea
& coffee making facilities, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi.
The hotel also has a restaurant and wine bar.
Parc Hotel Gritti, Bardolino
This outstanding 4-star lakeside resort hotel is
surrounded by beautiful grounds and gardens and is a
short stroll from the old centre of Bardolino. The hotel
boasts both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool as
well as a sauna and sun terrace with free tea and coffee
served daily between 16.00 and 17.00 and live musical
entertainment on some evenings in the piano bar. The

DAY 6
Today we travel by train to the island city of
Venice
where stunning architecture and famous vistas await.
We join our local guide upon arrival for a tour of
this alluring city. We cross the
Grand Canal
and the
Rialto Bridge
passing through a labyrinth of mysterious
passageways as we make our way to
St Mark’s Square
.
Here we have free time to enjoy the city at leisure
before we journey on a
waterbus
along the Grand
Canal and back to the station for our return train. (B,D)
DAY 7
Today is free to spend at leisure. You may wish to stay
local and make use of our lakeside resort hotel’s many
facilities which include both an indoor and outdoor
swimming pool, a sauna, sun terrace and pool bar.

We say ‘addio’ to our base on Lake Garda this morning
as we make our way north towards Lyon and to our
overnight stay at the Mercure Hotel. (B,D)

After breakfast we take the TGV to Lille Europe and
