Screw Cover
Head
The
Richards Screw Cover Head makes inspection of the thermocouple
easy.
Unscrew
the
cover
withouf
disconnecting
the
leads.
The single element can now be pulled out
for inspection.
The element is installed into the connector without bending, which
prevents
the
insulators from
cracking.
lf
the element needs
to
be replaced, simply unscrew the two terminals and and install a new
one.
The
cover
will
never get dropped
or
lost since
the
extension
wires
pass
through
the
center.
The cover
and
bushing are cast
iron,
which
have been coated
and
then
waxed to
help
prevent
rust and corrosion.
