XXIX. Plea with
Sentencing
and
Probation
In addition to the Plea and Court Action, the Court may order the defendant
to complete and serve an array of different Sentencing and Probation
conditions, including paying Court Cost and Fines. When each case is
disposed by these various options, the Surety Bond (if applicable) will be
automatically discharged.
From the ICP screen, follow the procedure below to update the appropriate
Plea, Court Action, Court Cost, Fines, and Sentencing and Probation options
as indicated by the court.
A.
Click the
<Print FP Card>
button to print the Finger Print card for
the Courtroom Deputy to print the Defendant, if applicable.
B.
Select all applicable charges.
C.
Click the
<Plea>
button and choose the appropriate option as
indicated by the court. This may be performed by double-clicking
the correct option.
D.
Click the
<Court Action>
button and choose the appropriate option
as indicated by the court. This may be performed by double-clicking
the correct option.
E.
Click the
<Other Docketing>
button to include information not
accommodated by an action button.
F.
Click
<OK>
.
G.
Update the
“Legal”
pane with the appropriate party information, if
needed.
H.
Click
<Update Attorney>
button.
Only if an attorney is being appointed, there’s a Stand-In
Attorney, the generic APD/ASA appears in the grid, or an
attorney is being withdrawn and another attorney is being
assigned, should a clerk have to update the Legal pane.
