It’s October and it is that time of year again. The leaves have started to turn
color, and the nights are getting longer and cooler. Before the mercury dips below
freezing, we need to prepare our boats for the coming winter. How sad is
that…………..
However, I think this summer has been one of the best boating seasons that I can
remember in a long time. Every member has had a great opportunity this summer
to enjoy the Club and its facilities.
As we approach Haul Out weekend, and our membership meeting, we need to
think about closing up the Club and winterizing her for the season. We will need
all hands on deck at our work weekends to make sure this gets done. Please look
at your October Saturdays and plan on attending these work parties to help make
this happen.
