commercial law acquired in private practice or in
commerce or industry. Candidates should have a legal
qualification and at least 5 years' experience. They must
be willing to acquire a thorough knowledge of the

The successful candidate will be involved in all legal
ir issues within the scope of our business, taking into
I account Irish, EEC and US legislation. The wide range of
responsibilities will involve regular contact with outside
lawyers, colleagues in the legal departments of related
IBM companies in Europe and contact with all levels of
management.
