Acoustical Performance (Absorption Coefficients)
Description
AVL Systems Pressure Zone™ BassPlus+ Systems are innovatively
designed and manufactured to absorb full, broadband acoustical
energy. Using every surface of the product for performance, Bass-
Plus+ Systems have very high absorption coefficients for all frequen-
cies of acoustical energy ranging from as low as 80 Hz and up to and
above 12,500 Hz. Featuring advanced materials and design/
manufacturing technologies, BassPlus+ Systems absorb more sound
using less space to do it. AVL also provides standard and custom
factory tunings for those difficult to treat room mode frequency prob-
lems. AVL Systems newest BassPlus+ System provides full upper
frequency absorption PLUS low frequency absorption whether
mounted in corners, wall intersections or on flat surfaces. Installation
is easy and simple using factory supplied and mounted z-clips, or
optional impaling clips with construction adhesive.
Application
Pressure Zone™ Bass Systems are the ideal decorative acoustical
treatment for placement at intersecting walls or wall-ceiling corners.
They are small enough to fit unobtrusively in any room corner while
achieving big performance from their efficient design and construc-
tion. Corner and boundary areas are usually available and present
the best placement for performance, and products are modular and
suitable for stacking. Some typical applications include new
construction and renovation such as auditoriums, conference areas,
libraries, schools, offices, worship space, recording and broadcast
studios,public buildings, or any area where acoustics, aesthetics, and
value are a consideration.
Interactive System Performance
The AcousTechTM family of interactive performance products is
designed to provide the acoustical engineer and specifier with a
complete “toolbox” of technically compatible products for any
application. These engineered products can be used individually or,
as an interactive system, working together to optimally enhance the
