Borrowed Land Farm
Borrowed Land Farm is a small family farm located at the
foot of Pilot Mountain in Surry County,NC.We grow
several varieties of mushrooms.We have several mushroom
strains that we have cloned from local wild specimens,
making them local food in every sense!We are committed
to education as well,and do school group programs,farm
tours,and classes on the farm.

a resource for outdoor learning and education about

Ridenour Ranch
The 98-acre property is nestled at the base of the Blue
Ridge Mountains and just a short 10-mile drive to the
scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Surrounded by vineyards, hik-
ing trails, mountain biking, and kayaking we decided it to
be the perfect location to create our Agritourism ranch.
We have alpaca, llama, goats, sheep, ponies, chickens and
