Ayrshire visit

to Liverpool

Bill Petherick

Chairman of Ayrshire Branch.

Members and friends of the Ayrshire Branch

recently spent a very enjoyable weekend in

Liverpool.

During their stay they met up with some local

members who ensured the spirit of the IPA was

well to the fore. Thanks Bill Gee and team for

making the weekend a memorable one.

Notts BBQ

Neil Hallam

– Editor.

The July meeting of Nottinghamshire Branch was a BBQ hosted

at Arthur Troop House. The sun shone and the burgers and

sausages were tasty.

Thank you for the invite. I was able to attend with a few Blue Knight

friends after our ride out.

Potential new Special

Interest Group (SIG) –

Classic Cars

Brian Baston

, Treasurer – IPA Birmingham, West Midlands Branch

As a classic car enthusiast and an owner of two classic vehicles,

I have thought some time about whether there is sufficient desire

across the UK IPA membership to form a Classic Car Special Interest

Group.

I believe there will be and would like to scope out the opportunity if there

is sufficient interest. The Motorcycle SIG has proven that IPA members

from across the UK are willing to travel to meetings and events and

there must be other members who have classic cars that would like

to meet maybe once or twice a year. If there is sufficient interest, we

could combine our meetings at some of the many events that take place

nationally and regionally. Can I ask any interested members/families

make contact with me in the first instance via

babaston@hotmail.com

.

I will assess the level of interest and look to take the group forward.
