Berry Memorial Library

The library is located at 93 Main Street in Bar Mills across from the Buxton-Hollis Historical

Society. We are open on Tuesdays 11-5, Thursdays 4-8 and Saturdays 9-11.

This year we had the Wildlife Park Pass available for patrons to use fromApril to November from

9:30-4:30. Visitors can stay in the park until 6:00 pm. This discounted pass permitted each visitor

(four years old and older) to pay $3.00 each for admission.

Each summer the library participates in the summer reading program with other local libraries.

The Narragansett One Foundation has been a generous supporter of our summer reading program

initiatives that have included books, crafts, incentives, and events. Each week children books are

on display and a craft is available to inspire creativity and imagination. In August, the Boston

Museum of Science presented the Super-Cold Science Program at the Old White Church on

Salmon Falls Rd. and we were delighted to have 126 attendees.

We received year round requests for books and magazines and I would like to thank our patrons

for their guidance with the book selection. All of our materials are circulated for a three-week loan

period. The library offers a small, but wonderful selection of books that are for sale and each book

is only 25 cents. This book sale is available year round.

The library over the years has had many wonderful volunteers and trustees and I would like

to thank them for their support and commitment to making the library a warm and welcoming

resource center.
