operate on larger A/C systems in trucks and buses. It offers the
adapted operating tank capacity on such A/C systems. The ClimFill
®

Charging Modes
The ClimFill
®
stations perform in any situation by adapting the appropriate strategy to secure the
refrigerant transfer to the car. Valeo entire range is now offering 3 different types of Charging
mode adapted to the different conditions.
>
Q-MODE
The Q-Mode (Quick Mode) is the
most common charge mode. It’s
quicker but less accurate than
the S-mode. In fact the pre-
charge phase (Automatic hose
compensation) can be affected by
ambient temperature. This mode is
launch automatically by the station
in normal operating conditions.
>
SUPERCHARGE-MODE
This function was initially used only on
ClimFill
®
MAXI to very large A/C loops,
typically buses and coaches.
Now this function is also offered to all
Valeo ClimFill
®
stations.
>
S-MODE
The
S-Mode (Suction Mode) function is
used to charge in severe conditions
(low
refrigerant level in the tank for instance or
at a low temperature).
It benefits from the A/C loop compressor
activation which drains the refrigerant
remaining in the hoses. The station extracts
the amount needed to refill the A/C system.
