Abrasives

Design:

Resin-bonded aluminium oxide grain (A) on a spiral-shaped

wound fabric carrier. Fresh grain is used in successive layers as

the outer coated abrasive wears off. With very good machining

performance. Always grind with the tip and not the surface, otherwise

the bond can become damaged by the heat.

Application:

For steel and casting. For processing drill holes, fillet

weld seams and deburring work on cast parts.

Application:

For mounting spiral-shaped wound grinding rolls. The

conical self-clamping holds the grinding rolls in place during working.

Design:

Slotted rubber bodies with 3 mm or 6 mm shaft. When

removing and refitting the abrasive cap a slight right turn should be

made. Changing is easier when the abrasive cap is clamped in the

drive machine. Abrasive caps perform best at cutting speeds of

10–20 m/s.

Application:

To accommodate moulded, seamless

abrasive caps. Centrifugal force holds the caps in place

during working.

Note:

The maximum peripheral speed is 25 m/s. The

specified maximum speed should not be exceeded for safety reasons.
