Last year, battery running times and the performance of devices

made huge progress. This makes them increasingly interesting to

users. Devices without electrical connection have since become

indispensable, especially in the building trade and for sanitary and

heating installation and for use by janitors, fire brigades, emergency

services and other mobile helpers. In order to work flexibly and

cordlessly, the right tool is required alongside a high-performance

device. Tools for conventional, power-operated devices are only

suitable to some extent for cutting, roughing, grinding, brushing,

cleaning, polishing or satin-finish.

They are too heavy and often not suitable for several applications

in one work step. Users won't get far without a specially developed

tool in mobile application, where speed and precision are crucial. The

performance of the batteries is impaired due to conventional tools,

the battery power is quickly depleted and has to be charged

repeatedly. In addition, the tool change between different application

consumes valuable time.

Cordless is best

The optimal coordination of the bond to

the used grain type ensures higher abrasive

action, thus allowing faster separation

and removal of material. In turn, shorter

processing times allow longer work with one

battery charge.

With only 2 mm, the grinding disk has an

extremely low design, which saves additional

weight.

Brushes with silicon-carbide threads are

universally applicable, lighter than steel wire

brushes (up to 60% weight reduction), exhibit

less risk of breaking and flexibly adapt to the

surface. In addition, the brushes, polishing

and satin-finishing disks for battery-operated

devices are characterised by a lighter casing

construction. All these factors contribute to a

longer battery operating time.
