Design:

HSS Co5, DIN 338, TiN coated surface, type FU.

Profile grinding, right cutting, with precise point geometry as well

as special point thinning and excellent thermal resistance. Angle of

rake larger than normal (35°), core thickness thicker than normal

and normal core gradient. Set consisting of (order no. 1023).

Supplied in a robust, high quality plastic cassette with automatic

drill setup function when opened.

TiN

Design:

HSS Co5, DIN 338, type TF. Particularly sturdy model. Profile

grinding, right cutting, bright surface, nitrated bevels from ∅ 2.4 mm

with precise point geometry as well as wide clamping slots with heavily

rounded back edges and excellent thermal resistance. Point thinning

according to DIN 1412, form A. Angle of rake larger than normal, core

thickness thicker than normal and without core gradient.

Application:

Suitable for drilling depths above 3 x D due to bevel

nitration and wide clamping slots. Particularly suitable for alloyed/

non-alloyed steels and casting types above 800 N/mm

2

in strength, hot

and cold work steels, roller bearing steels, high-alloy steels, tempered

steels and case hardening steels.
