Method: Pre-heat Oven 220 degrees
1. Heat oil, add beef, season and brown then set
aside.
2. Heat oil, cook onion, garlic and ginger to soften.
3. Add potato, carrots, peas and curry powder and
cook for a few minutes.
4. Add tomato paste and 400 ml of stock.
5. Return minced beef into pot. Stir mixture well.
5. Simmer 30 mins covered or until vegetables are
soft, add cornflour mixture to thicken and allow
to cool.
6. Cut pastry sheets in half and spoon some of the
mixture on one side of each half in a long strip.
7. Moisten the edges of pastry with egg and fold
over then glaze the top of pastry with egg,
sprinkle with sesame seeds.
8.Crimp edges with fork and put fork holes in top.
Bake 30 mins or until golden brown and cut into
small rolls.

1 tablespoon oil
500g minced beef
1 Onion, finely diced
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1 large potato, cut into 3 cm chunks
2 Carrots, cut into 3 cm chunks
1 cup frozen peas
2 tablespoons tomato paste
400ml Beef stock
1 egg, whisked
Sesame seeds
Puff pastry sheets
2 tablespoons Hot Curry powder
or to taste
2 heaped teaspoons cornflour
(made into a paste)
