Improvement
of security
features
on NHBRC
certificates
The National Home Builders
Registration Council is
introducing new certificates
with improved security
features in order to
address security deficiencies.
These include builder
registration and home
enrolment certificates.
Some of the benefits of
these improved security
features include:
• Elimination of fraudulent certificates
• Printing will be done on
a watermarked paper
• Clear distinction between the original
and the reprinted certificate
• Holograms
The new certificates will come
into effect as from
01 May 2015.
Home builders and housing consumers are
encouraged to direct any enquiries to their
nearest provincial customer care office.
