DAY 1
We depart London St Pancras by
Eurostar to Brussels. Here we change
onto a high-speed train into Germany.
Our hotel for six nights is the Hotel
Pinger in the Rhine riverside village of
Remagen

DAY 2
This morning is free to relax and
explore at leisure before we cross
the Rhine travelling to
Königswinter
for a return trip on Germany’s oldest
rack railway, the
Drachenfelsbahn
,
up 220 metres to the castle - Schloss
Drachenburg where there is a charming
Christmas Market and the castle will be
lit up after dark. We then return as

Travelling by train southwards
alongside the Rhine to the beautiful
riverside town of
Boppard
. Here, we
join one of the river cruise ships for a
round trip along the most scenic part
