SURVEY OF CZECH INTERNATIONAL LAW BIBLIOGRAPHY

SURVEY OF CZECH INTERNATIONAL LAW

BIBLIOGRAPHY

The Survey covers Czech books, articles and chapters dealing with international law

and also texts of Czech authors published abroad, that appeared during 2013 and

the first half of 2014. It includes also selected texts focused on private international

law, European Law and the Czech constitutional law, that all reflect international

law aspects.

In 2012, the recodification of Czech private law was completed and on January 1,

2014 a set of new laws, including the Act on Private International Law, entered into

force. This fact attracted a lot of scholar’s attention; at least three new commentaries

to this Act were issued. In the field of public international law, Czech scholars – as

well as in previous years – focus especially on human rights issues, humanitarian

law and study the activity of international criminal bodies. Several works deal with

another topical issue of international law – the interpretation and scope application

of international treaties and agreements.

The translations of original titles in square brackets were not authorized.
