As we head back to school this year, we are
opening a brand new manufacturing lab at West
Leyden. The new space generated so much
interest in our students that we needed to hire
another Metals teacher to run five additional
sections of manufacturing this year. This photo
is from a check presentation where the Precision
Machined Products Association Education
Foundation
( http://www.pmpa.org/careers/pmpa- foundation )presented a check for $10,000 to our
School Board President, Administration, and
Industrial Technology Department.
Teutopolis Unit 50 - William Fritcher, superintendent
Teutopolis Unit 50 has undertaken a fundraising
campaign to change how we teach and learn through
the use of technology. Named "Techtopolis" by staff
and students, the campaign has generated over
$111,000 in pledges and will make a significant impact
in our students' learning.
