Pre-Tax Benefit Contributions
Some benefit deductions may be made on a pre-tax basis. This means that you do
not pay state, federal, and social security taxes on eligible premiums paid using a
payroll deduction. Bottom-line, this means more money in your pocket. Your pay-
roll deductions for medical, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts (FSA), park-
ing, transit and 401(k) benefits will be made on a pre-tax basis where applicable.
Please contact Human Resources if you do not wish to pay your premiums with pre
-tax income.
