the rem oval, from one side, o f the unsightly ho uses

w hich before stood th e re , is rendered m ore re ­

spectable.

good looking building h as been raised-, b o th o f

w hich a re arran g ed as tav ern s and c afé s; and on

one side o f th e street are som e decent shops, w ith

a colonnade — in w hich a re public offices.
