In addition, there are plenty of other events which take place every year in Munich. The following is
only a guideline:

Frühlingsfest
– Spring Festival of showmen and market traders on the
Theresienwiese,
beginning at Easter for two weeks

Stadtgründungsfest
– over the Pentecost weekend, Munich celebrates its founding. It takes
place from Marienplatz to Odeonsplatz with a wide international program of events and
special attractions for children

– Classic Music Festival, takes place in the Muffathalle and the Carl-
