looking for an opportu–
nity to serve others and
have fun while enriching
their faith at the same time,
USD's Campus Ministry
program was the organiza–
tion to get involved in. The
beautiful founder's Chapel
offered Mass each Sunday
night so that students
could have a chance for
personal reflection in the
presence of others in the
community of God before
beginning a busy new week.
Any student was able to get
involved with the Mass by
being a Minister of the
Word, a Minister of the Al–
tar, a Pastoral Musician, or
a Minister of the Eucharist.
Campus Ministry also pro–
moted class unity by spon–
soring unforgettable re-

tains for each individual
class. for students who
wished to volunteer, Cam–
pus Ministry provided pro–
jects such as the Catholic
Worker Soup Kitchen, Ti–
juana House Building, Hun–
ger and Homelessness
Week, and Mercy Hospital
Ministry. RCIA, Confirma–
tion programs, Bible Stud–
ies, and daily Masses were
offered by USD for those
wanting to form a closer re–
lationship with God.
Campus Ministry was an
organized effort designed
to bring students together
to share faith, to grow spiri–
tually, and to initiate ser–
vice on behalf of others so
that students could make
the most of their college
experience.
