den said that the 1990-

1991 soccer team was

more goal oriented than

other teams he had

coached in the past. The

vast array of talented

players attributed to the

team's overall record .

The team' s biggest

thrill was beating Port–

land in the NCAA Play–

offs. All agreed that their

worst moment occurred

in the game they tied

away a goal in the last

minute of the game

which caused the tie.

Trong Nguyen, one of

the team captains, re–

ceived the

sive MVP award. Many

other players received

recognition as well. In

addition, Coach Mcfad–

Some of the goals as

stated by the head coach

were, "We want to win

the West Coast Confer–

ence and get to the NCAA
