defined as evidence of
•
persistent local disease,
•
local regrowth or local recurrence in the
primary tumour after protocol therapy.
•
Patients who never attained local control
(after chemoradiotherapy) were counted as
treatment failures at the first assessment
post-treatment at 6 weeks.
•
Requirement for colostomy
