GXL wire is a stranded, bare copper, medium wall thickness, automotive wire that is
manufactured with a chemically cross-linked, polyethylene insulation. This wire is identical in
characteristics to SXL wire except for the thinner insulation. GXL wire resists fusing or melting
at high temperatures and is resistant to moisture and solvents, making it ideal for engine
