component

using empirical methods (e.g.

Clarkson

scatter integration)

Inhomogeneities

were corrected by

scaling

the fluence/

dose

with

density

(Equivalent Path Length method, Ray Tracing ...)

Works well if electron transport and effect of inhomogeneities on

scatter component can be ignored
