TLD
The most common types of TLDs are
phosphors such as lithium fluoride
(LiF), lithium borate (Li2 B4 07 ),
calcium sulphate (CaSO4) and
calcium fluoride (CaF2 )
doped with impurities called activators
Li based TLD are mainly used for soft
tissue equivalent, and
Ca based for bone Soft tissue or lung Bone

CaSO4 : Dy
Li2 B4 07 : Mn CaF2 : Mn
