Turismo Andaluz is the trade-
markwithwhich the Junta deAndalucía
(localGovernment) promotes the sector.
Among their activities it should be
highlighted the possibility of choosing
plans for those who visit the province,
andwhynot, for locals thatwant toknow
a little better their province. Plans are
changing during the year depending on
the availability and weather. From the
activities offered for the autumn/ win-
ter season, LAVOZ newspaper has cho-
sen six breaks to enjoy.All of themcould
be donewith the family.
Aday inLaBreña
From35 Euros per person, a day in this
corner of Barbate could be enjoyed. The
visitwill start at 10hours in the Informa-
tionPoint of the ParqueNatural Breña y
Marismas de Barbate (Breña yMarismas
de Barbate natural reserve). An hour af-
ter that, the visit to the Interpretation
Centre of theRedTuna ofAlmadraba, ta-
kes place; this visit is completed at 12
hourswith the tour around the canning
industry and a live ‘ronqueo’ (quartering)
of red tuna. But not everything is just
watching andno tasting, at 14hours, the-
re will be a lunch in a restaurant near-
by. At 17 hours, the guided tour and the
visit to the Torre del Tajo, a guard tower
fromtheXVI century,
start.At19hours,
the activity finishes.
Night visit to the chameleons
It is one of themost interesting sugges-
tions due to its night-time feature. The
price is 12 Euros for adults and eight for
kids under 12 years old. The activity
starts at 21:20 hours, when the group
gathers at the Information Point in the
Parque Natural Breña y Marismas de
Barbate (Breña y Marismas de Barbate
natural reserve). When everyone has
arrived, an introductory conference
about chameleon biology and its his-
tory in this natural locationwill be held.
At 22 hours the night chameleon wat-
ching starts in the Hierbabuena beach
in Barbate. At midnight, the group goes
back to the Information Point, thus en-
ding the activity.
Ornithological tour
It cost is 15 Euros and it propose an
ornithological tour around the marsh
of Barbate. At 19:30 hours the group
gathers at the Information Point in
the Parque Natural Breña y Marismas
de Barbate (Breña y Marismas de Bar-
bate natural reserve) and an explana-
tion of the bird watching is done. At
20:00 hours the group goes to the
marsh of the Barbate river to watch
birds in the private vehicles of the par-
ticipants.
Horse rides
A two hour duration activity around
the surroundings of La Breña with a
cost of 30 Euros. This activity will
start at the meeting point of La Bre-
ña reserve, where almost nine kilo-
metres will be gone over riding a hor-
se. The visit includes a nature guide,
authorizations and liability and acci-
dents insurance.
Familiar experience inGrazalema
TurismoAndaluz suggests in their tours,
