TRAINING

Challenge yourself to a day of
training with the Courtenay Fire
Department. Physically and men-
tally, you will test your abilities as
you discover the life of a firefight-
er. This fun and informative day
will educate you about the vol-
unteer and career possibilities in
fire fighting. The program will take
place at the new Courtenay Fire
Training Centre.

YOUTH YOGA CAMP
(10 - 16 years)
During this fun and interactive
camp, youth will be introduced to
the practice of yoga and mindful-
ness. This camp includes breath-
ing techniques, movement to
relax and strengthen the body and
meditation. Enjoy healthy and deli-
cious snacks and work on creative
projects that can be used at home
as part of your continued practice.
