Holiday Season of Sharing
Dolton West #148 - Dr. Jayne Purcell
Tootsie Roll Day 2013. At this event, staff members
collected donations for students with disabilities;
Community performance at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps
Community Center in Chicago. The District’s Concert Band,
Concert Choir, Chorale, Symphonic Band, and Tri-M Music
Honor Society performed; Performance at the Southland
Prevention Coalition’s business breakfast; District’s Winter
Concert.
East St. Louis School District 189 - Arthur
Culver
In a partnership with food service
provider Chartwells, East St. Louis School
District 189 welcomed a total of 800 families
at its second annual Community Appreciation
Dinner, which was held at Mason Clark
Middle School earlier this month.
Perandoe Sp. Ed. Dist. - Carol Root
The Perandoe Special Education District had
a Food Drive and called it "Deck the Halls."
All staff participated in circling our walls in
the hallway with donated items for a local
food pantry in Red Bud. We had a truck
full of items to help families in Randolph
