Types of Engineered Wood
Particleboard:
an engineered wood product manufactured
from wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even sawdust, and a
binding agent (glue), which is pressed and extruded.
Plywood:
a type of strong thin wooden board consisting
of two or more layers glued and pressed together with the
direction of the grain alternating.
Medium-denisty Fibreboard (MDF):
an engineered wood
product made of fine wood fibers combined with a binding
agent and pressed under high heat.
Please note: All binding agents utilized within the manufacturing process are compliant
with the standards set by the California Air Resource Board (CARB).
